The official conference programme of the 4th European Research & Innovation exhibition, gathers 80 conferences which will be held on June 5, 6 and 7, 2008.
Conferences will start on June 5th, 2008 on the TV area at 10:30 am for the inaugural round table dedicated to the following theme: “The major challenges facing research and innovation in Europe”. Another “not to be missed” round table will be held on June 6th; on the TV area putting in the limelight the following subject “Medical Research & health”. In addition, to close out the exhibition, a last round table is scheduled Saturday June 7th, 2008, which will deal with “Can Research & Innovation heal the Earth?”. Previously to that, another round table dealing with “Research organisations & universities: what type of collaboration?” will also be held. Furthermore, 3 prizes will be awarded during the fair such as the Louis Néel Prize (by The French Physics Society), the Science et Vie Junior magazine’s Prize and the Sustainable Development Generation’s Contest Prize (by La Recherche magazine, the ADEME and Generali). Please also note that many different animations will be orga nized in the two Kiosks which are located within the hall: the Institut Carnot Association’s Kiosk located on the stand C8 and the Caisse des Dépôts – CPU French Universities Kiosk located on the stand B39.AN EXHIBITION, A CONFERENCE, A TEAM
