The sixth annual International Conference on Optical Communication and Networks will be held in Paris in January next year.
This year's conference is called "Transparency and Universality of Wavelength Division Multiplexing" and concerns state of the art of optical communications in terms of components, systems, networks and market opportunities.
The subjects for the tutorials of the conference are:
- Understanding why and how emergent operations and technologies enter on the market;
- Updated trends on photonics in telecommunications networks.
Presentations will be made at the conference on Commission research programmes and projects, including the ACTS SONATA network.
The conference is organised by Novamédia in association with IEEE and Telecom Paris.
