Sustainability and security in the Agro Food sector: technology partnership event

Unioncamere Piemonte and the Turin Chamber of Commerce, partner of the Alps Enterprise Europe Network, organize a technology partnership event, whose aim is giving to enterprises, to research centers and labs the opportunity to meet together and to match technology offers and demands.
The event, in agenda for the 24th of October 2008, will take place in Turin during the International Fair “Salone del Gusto”, dedicated to the agro food and to the most recent trends in mater of food quality and life style.
The focus will be put on three mains technological sectors:
Food security: products traceability technologies and quality check
Eco-productions: innovative process for recycling, re-use of production’s waste and intelligent technology to manage energy consumption in food production
Eco-packaging: eco-compatible innovative products for food packaging
The working session will start at 9.30 am and fill finish at 5.30 pm and to each participant will be propose an agenda of bilateral meetings, organized on the base of profile matching.
The participation is free of charge and is open to all the interested business and research centers. In addition, the registration to the technology partnership session will give the opportunity to visit the exhibitors’ stands and to take part to a relevant international appointment for food quality and security.
