FemStart Conference on high-tech entrepreneurship 2008, in the Netherlands

If you are responsible for, or interested in, policy issues on high-tech entrepreneurship and the role of female scientists, please attend the freely accessible FemStart conference on high-tech entrepreneurship, in Enschede, on September 24 and 25.

Starting in the late afternoon in the Rijksmuseum Twenthe, the opening session presents European, national and regional policy perspectives on the importance of women and high-tech entrepreneurship. On September 25 the conference continues during the day in Prismare (Roombeek). The topic of female high-tech entrepreneurship is illuminated with facts and figures, and illustrated by experiences from entrepreneurs and good examples of foreign support programs (US, UK, Germany) targeted at female high-tech entrepreneurs. The FemStart conference is aimed at policymakers, opinion leaders, entrepreneurship support and intermediary organizations, universities and high-tech companies. The conference language will be English.
