Environmental technology meeting in Budapest

Companies and public authorities from Central Europe which use environmental technology are invited to attend a conference on sustainable industrial development in Budapest in January.
"Environment-orientated Sustainable Industrial Development in Central Europe During the European Union Integration Process" will be held in the Hungarian capital on 21 January 1999. The event is targeted mainly at companies using environmental technology, but also at local, regional and national Government representatives.
The main reason for the meeting is the importance of the environmental technology industry, which is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the world economy. While it is one of the most successful sectors of the developed countries, developing countries consider this industry a problem.
During the EU integration process, environment-oriented sustainable industrial development will provide opportunities for the Hungarian economy.
