Finding international cooperation partners and new solutions in information and communica-tion technologies - this opportunity is provided by the 11th edition of the international partner-ing event Future Match at CeBIT 2009 in Hannover. From 3rd to 8th March 2009 Future Match again offers a platform for companies, academic organisations and research institutions from numerous countries to discuss possibilities for technical cooperation and joint research pro-jects in face-to-face meetings. Future Match is being organised by partners from the Enter-prise Europe Network with the support of the Deutsche Messe AG.

Companies and organisations can register at http://www.futurematch.cebit.de(opens in new window) providing a collabo-ration profile to the online catalogue and indicating the desired form of cooperation. Partici-pants can search the catalogue for interesting collaboration profiles and request meetings with other potential collaboration partners. Registration is open from 1st December 2008 until 4th February 2009. All requests will be coordinated by the network partners and arranged in individual schedules for face-to-face meetings. The meetings will take place from 3rd to 8th March at the Future Match stand in the future parc in hall 9, booth A56.

Nothing succeeds like success. The numbers from Future Match 2008 speak for themselves: Over 480 participants from 39 countries made use of the opportunity in over 1,200 prear-ranged face-to-face meetings to make contacts and discuss technical collaboration, joint de-velopment, research projects, manufacturing, marketing and licensing agreements.

In addition to the partnering event, the Enterprise Europe Network offers its clients attractive exhibition spaces with broad support services directly at the Future Match stand.Further information:

Enterprise Europe Network

Launched in February 2008 by the European Commission, the Enterprise Europe Network combines and builds on the former Innovation Relay Centres and Euro Info Centres and offers its support especially to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. All activities of the network aim at promoting innovation and competitiveness in Europe. The services offered by the 500 partner organisations in nearly 40 European and non-European countries include partner searches for technology and business cooperation, technology audits, ad-vice on European regulations, current programmes and funding opportunities.

The partnering events organised by the network, such as Future Match, have proven to be a successful instrument for mediating international cooperation. They take place mostly at international fairs and offer exhibitors and visitors the chance to easily establish valuable contacts Europe wide.
