Berlin workshop on intellectual property rights

A workshop to explain and demonstrate the new instruments to support researchers in the field of intellectual property rights is taking place in Berlin on 18 January 1999.
Since October 1998 the European Commission and the European Patent Office (EPO) have offered new kinds of support to researchers and companies in patent matters. The workshop will introduce researchers to the Intellectual Property Rights Helpdesk, which has been established to give support on all questions regarding patents and the exploitation of R&D results.
The workshop will also introduce researchers to new interactive education software in the field of IPR developed by the European Patent Office.
