1st TARCC Workshop on Targeted Radionuclide Therapy: Advances in targeted radionuclide therapy

This year, the FP7 collaborative project Targeting Alpha-Radionuclides to Combat Cancer (TARCC) is pleased to organize, in collaboration with the Targeted RadioNuclide Therapy (TRNT) COST Action (BM0607) and the Tumor Targeting Network (TTN) of the Cancéropôle Grand Ouest, its 1st International Workshop on Targeted Radionuclide Therapy.

25 May 2009 - 26 May 2009
Belgium

For its first edition, the program will cover the latest advances in targeted radionuclide therapy research with both alpha-emitting and beta-emitting radionuclides. Five main topics will be discussed:
• Radionuclides and radionuclide chemistry
• Innovative vectors for targeted radionuclide therapy
• Targeted radionuclide therapy of haematological diseases
• New targets for solid tumour radionuclide therapy
• Dosimetry in targeted radionuclide therapy and radiobiology

Keynote lectures by international experts will introduce these topics. We will be proud to welcome: Boris L. Zhuikov, from Moscow, Russia, Michael R. Zalutsky, from Durham, North Carolina, Tony Lahoutte, from Brussels, Belgium, François-Régis Bataille, from Nantes, France, Dario Neri, from Zürich, Switzerland and Michael G. Stabin, from Nashville, Tennessee.

Come and join us for an international summer scientific experience!

The workshop is not restricted to partners of TARCC, TRNT or TTN, but open to all students, clinicians and scientists involved in Targeted Radionuclide Therapy research willing to share their experience for future progress by means of an oral or poster presentation.

Abstract submission deadline for oral presentations and posters is April 15th.

Please, see important information, register and submit your abstract on line on our web site: http://www.tarcc.org.
