ICT Brokerage 2009, Brno, Czech Republic

ICT Brokerage 2009 aims to foster scientific and industrial cooperation in the ICT sector in the Central European region and greater involvement of the New Member States in the 7th Framework Programme ICT-Theme. The main focus is on topics specified by the 5th and 6th calls of the ICT Work Programme 2009-2010.

ICT Brokerage 2009 is one of the official events of Czech Presidency and accompanying event of the conference Research Connection 2009. It is organised in Brno as one of the projects of the Regional Innovation Strategy of South Moravian Region. Brno is the second largest city of the Czech Republic and a strong base of research and innovation that plans huge investments into top class infrastructure in the field of ICT. The event is jointly organised by Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, South Moravian Innovation Centre, Regional Chamber of Commerce Brno, Transport Research Centre and FIRST Innovation Park, in collaboration with the European Commission, DG INFSO.
