International Conference: Innovative Developments for Lightweight Vehicle Structures

The conference is targeted to experts from carmakers, tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers, R&D centres as well as EUCAR and the European Commission.
Different aspects of lightweight multi-material vehicles will be covered, from concepts design and optimisation to forming and joining technologies, life-cycle assessment and recyclability. As well, at the end of the conference further developments and research needs and challenges will also be presented and discussed.
The Conference will cover the main achievements of the European project SuperLIGHT-CAR, in which 38 leading European organisations have contributed to the development of lightweight multimaterial car body structures.
