Brussels holds international conference on Integrated Water Resources Management
The final goal of the project is to enhance the dialogue between decision-makers, stakeholders and scientists in order to analyze and propose solutions for a proper sustainable management of water resources.
The STRIVER Final Conference will summarize the major findings from the project. It will provide an arena for discussions around recent findings in the field of IWRM.
45 oral presentations in plenary and parallel sessions, break-out working groups and panel discussions will ensure active participation of representatives from highly qualified research institutes, universities, international water organizations, water managers and European Commission members.
STRIVER Final Conference will take place the 28th-29th May 2009 in the Club of the University Foundation (Rue d’Egmont, 11- 1000 Brussels).
