SM-BIO-POWER Awareness Workshop for Biomedical Engineering SMEs
MAI Union responsible for this event is the Chmical, Pharmaceutical & Environment Society, which hosts many biomedical and biotechnology industrial firms.
The European 7th Framework Program (“FP7”) provides R&D grants to companies to the extent of 50%-75% of the project's R&D budget.
FP7 is expected to fund collaborative R&D projects with a total budget of over 50 billion Euro till the end of 2013.
FP7 is organized in a 'top-bottom' approach, whereas a large variety of R&D topics are listed in the work programs, divided into various themes including: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Health, Food, Agriculture, Fisheries, Biotechnology, Environment, Transport, Aeronautics, Aerospace, etc. Companies who seek funding under FP7 can usually find their 'spot' in the above-mentioned list of topics and themes.
If you wish to learn more about FP7 you are hereby invited to this information day that will focus on the area of Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering.
The program will be presented by representatives of ISERD (Israel-Europe R&D Directorate for the EU Framework Program, the NCP for FP7), EEN (European Enterprise Network) and Beacon Tech Ltd.
