Open call for pre-proposals

The TransBonus project, co-funded by the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Union, opens a call for project research ideas (in the form of pre-proposals), in the surface transport thematic area, proposed by research organisations, NGOs, universities, and public organisations, coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYR of Macedonia, Serbia and Bulgaria. SMEs can also submit pre-proposals under the conditions that they establish partnership with research organisations, NGOs, universities, and public organisations.
Authors of the best 2-3 project ideas (Pre-proposals) per country, in the particular sector of interest, will then receive practical support, by more experienced EU partners (Help-Forward -Greece, SenterNovem - the Netherlands, ARC Fund - Bulgaria), in creating project consortia and developing full project proposals, to be submitted to the official calls of the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) under the Transport and Capacities (Research Potential) programmes (these calls were announced on July 30th, 2009 (for more information on these calls pls visit http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/dc/index.cfm(opens in new window)).
The Guidelines for Applicants as well as the Application Form are now available for consultation and downloading on the following internet sites: www.transbonus.net and www.arcfund.net. The filled-in Application Forms must be sent to transbonus@online.bg.
The deadlines for submission of proposals are September 15, 2009 at 17.00 hrs CET or October 15, 2009 at 17.00 hrs CET.
