Training Course on Financial Management of FP7 projects- Roma, 28th – 30th October 2009

This three days in-depth training course is designed to provide a general overview of the main features of the FP7, focussing in particular on financial management and financial reporting, thus providing participants with the knowledge required to interpret and implement FP7 financial regulations.

The course foresees specific sessions devoted to the analysis of case studies and examples and to the discussion of problematic situations deriving from the participants’ direct experiences.

The following topics will be covered:

• General financial provisions: Reg. (EC) 1906/2006 of 18th December 2006, the Grant Agreement and other European Commission documents;
• Funding Schemes;
• Direct costs: personnel, consumables, durables, subsistence costs and other direct costs; subcontracts; costs of third parties;
• Indirect costs and eligible methods of calculation;
• Ineligible costs;
• Project financial reporting;
• Certification requirements: procedures and required supporting documents.


The course is targeted to specifically address the needs of professionals and project managers who are involved in the management of FP7 projects, both in the private and public sector. The course can be an effective tool to help participants to effectively manage projects and further develop their internal management strategies. It can also provide a good opportunity to network and share good practices.

THE COURSE WILL BE HELD IN ITALIAN. .
Dates: 28-30 October 2009 (from 9.00 to 17.00)
Course fee: € 1200+VAT. The fee includes tuition, documentation (both in printed and electronic format), certificate, morning coffees and lunches.
