Visit the SSH information event in Munich, October 2, 2009

2 October 2009 - 2 October 2009
Austria
You are a researcher of the socio-economic sciences or humanities?
At present a wide range of new research topics and research opportunities in the socio-economic sciences and humanities (SSH) is provided.
The current call of the 7th EU Research Framework Programme in the area of SSH was launched in July 2009 and we are glad to provide you with the unique opportunity to gain first hand information in participating in the planned transnational event.
For the first time a transnational event on socio-economic sciences and humanities within FP7 is organized in joint cooperation between Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This event does not only offer you an overview of the current call for proposals but also the opportunity to get information about the new strategy of the programme, which was implemented with the current call and will conduct you as a SSH researcher throughout the remaining FP 7-years.

The event will focus especially on the following themes:
- How does the new programme strategy for SSH look? Why is a new strategy necessary and what influence does it have on the current call for proposals?
- What are the main thematic focuses? How can I apply for funding and which novelties are to be considered?
- Which innovative dissemination strategies are there and why is the dissemination of research results of such importance?

Furthermore a successful coordinator will report about research and management experiences on European level and the National Contact Points will present their help and support options.

This event also provides you the unique opportunity for networking activities! Experts of the European Commission, colleagues of your research area and the National Contact Points are looking forward to share their knowledge and experience with you!
