New workshop organised by the Network for the Economic Analysis of Terrorism (NEAT)

NEAT connects a group of leading European economists working on terrorism and insecurity, and it brings them into dialogue with policy-makers. The next workshop is entitled: “Recent Economic Research on Issues of Terrorism: Research that Informs Policy-making”.

The network’s fourth workshop will include:
• An overview of the latest economic research into terrorism and counter-terrorism,
• A session on the link that may exist between terrorism and development issues, and
• A special presentation and discussion of a network-sponsored economic analysis of the impact of terrorist attacks on European rail networks.Please register with John Holmes, NEAT Administrator: jholmes@diw.de. There is no registration fee for this event. Space is limited, so please register early. Please bring your invitation/registration form and official photo identification with you to the Borschette Centre on October 19th. Please allow yourself time to pass through security before the workshop begins.
