The French organisations, ACTA and INRA, are organising in Dijon on 4 February 1999 a national information day on "Sustainable agriculture, fisheries and forestry, including the integrated development of rural areas" - one of the Key Actions in the Quality of Life and Management of Living Resources theme of the Fifth Framework Programme. The working language of the event will be French.

In the presence of personnel from the European Commission Jacques Burtin (DG VI) and Graham Stroud (DG XII), the event will allow detailed exposition of the content of this Key Action, the ways of the Fifth Framework Programme will work, in particular the evaluation of proposals, and there will be time during the discussion to respond to participants questions.
