At least 10 000 people are expected to attend MEDIA EXPO at the Congress Palace of Rome from 4 to 7 March 1999. The event will include an exhibition as well as seminars and workshops.
The event focuses on topics of particular interest to EU-funded research. For example, to show how advanced technologies are changing our everyday life, more than 60 exhibitors will exhibit leading-edge technology in the areas of e-commerce, internet communication, and education and training.
The meetings at the event will focus on the development of the information society, new professions and new media, long distance training for corporates and institutions, and media and communication in Rome for the millennium.
