Training Course on contractual management, fiscal and social security matters in FP7 projects - Rome, 17th–18th February 2010

This two days in-depth training course is designed to provide a general overview of the main features of the FP7, focussing on contractual management of FP7 projects and devoting particular attention also to fiscal and social security related issues. The course will take into account the peculiarities of both public and private organizations, including SMEs.

The following main topics will be addressed:

• Analysis of the main features of the Model Grant Agreements and related Annexes for all FP7 specific programmes (Cooperation, Capacities, Ideas and People).
• Recommended contents for Consortium Agreements (for both public and private organizations).
• Employment contracts for in-house consultants, Marie Curie Fellows, ERC Principal Investigators and Team Members.
• Service and/or supply contracts with Third parties, Sub-contractors and other suppliers.
• Fiscal issues related to the FP7 project management (direct taxes, VAT and other indirect taxes).
• Social security contributions and insurance for resident and non-resident project collaborators.

The course foresees specific sessions devoted to the analysis of case studies and to the discussion of problematic situations deriving from the participants’ direct experiences.

The course is targeted to specifically address the needs of professionals and project managers who are involved in the management of FP7 projects, both in the private and public sector. The course can be an effective tool to help participants to effectively manage projects and further develop their internal management strategies. It can also provide a good opportunity to network and share good practices.THE COURSE WILL BE HELD IN ITALIAN.

Course fee: € 1000+VAT. The fee includes tuition, documentation (both in printed and electronic format), certificate, morning coffees and lunches.
