Panel presentations, debate and discussion will be on the topics/questions:

• Panel presentation, debate and discussion on - train researchers to be science communicators or give journalists deeper insight into science communication

• Round table on - Importance of ethics in Research. How are ethics justified by research on mummies, emphasis - ÖTZI the Iceman on display at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano, one of the world’s best-known and most important mummies

• Round table discussion - Science communication in the EU, what kind of science communication; state of the art of science communication; can something be learned from best practices; how should science communication to wider public look like in the future; is science communication PR

Among the guests of the conference are Peter Grünberg, German Nobel Laureate in Physics from 2007 (Germany), Istvan Palugyai, editor of Hungarian newspaper and well known science communicator (Hungary) and Nuno Crato, winner of the EU science communicator award 2007 (Portugal).
