and micro manufacturing sectors, the course will offer an overview of the
newest high precision technologies for the production of mini and micro
optical components

30 June 2010 - 2 July 2010

During the last 4 years, the European consortium Production4μ has developed a new production process technology for positioning Europe ahead of micro components manufacturing. Now, it’s time to share the knowledge generated.

So we are proud to invite you to the Production4μ Summer School. Addressed to engineer students, companies and professionals from optics and micro manufacturing sectors, the course will offer an overview of the newest high precision technologies for the production of mini and micro optical components.

The course is coordinated by the GREP, a research group in engineering of product, process and production formed by the University of Girona (Spain) and Ascamm Foundation (Barcelona, Spain).

Taking place at Escola Politécnica Superior (Girona, Spain), the course has a total duration of 18 hours. The registration are open through the website: http://p4micro.ascammonline.com/summerschool(opens in new window)

About the project:

The Production4µ is a R&D consortium coordinated by IPT Fraunhofer (Germany) and counts with more than 20 European partners, among research organizations, technology centres and companies. Ascamm is mostly taking part in production planning activities, offering its support in the production quality management.
