European Logistics and Supply Chain Security Roadmap Workshop

The FP7 Project LOGSEC “Development of a strategic roadmap towards a large scale demonstration project in European logistics and supply chain security”, will hold an expert workshop on 22 June in Brussels, Belgium.

22 June 2010
Bulgaria
The goal of the workshop is to collect anecdotes on supply chain vulnerabilities, crime incidents, security solutions and also to anticipate trends and make some preliminary forecasts for the future.

Crime types of interest to the LOGSEC project include: smuggling, organized immigration crime, theft, counterfeiting, sabotage, document forgery, cyber crime, identity theft, corruption, pollution crime and extortion, amongst other types of crime. Terrorism also falls within the scope of the project.

All data collected during the workshop will be treated confidentially within the LOGSEC consortium.

The benefits for the workshop participants are twofold:
1. You will have a direct influence on the European roadmap content and priorities, also towards the Phase 2 demonstration project.
2. You will receive a summary report of the workshop outcomes.

LOGSEC is offering the opportunity for external experts to join the workshop.
