Dissertations advance limnology and oceanography

A symposium for the DIALOG programme (Dissertations initiative for the advancement of limnology and oceanography) will be held in Bermuda from 18 to 24 October 1999.
The goals of the DIALOG project are to:
- Better integrate young scientists into the research community;
- Broaden their view of the field;
- Foster long-term associations;
- Stimulate inter-disciplinary, inter-institutional and international research.
During the symposium, participants will make oral and poster presentations on their PhD research, confer in small working groups with regards to emerging trends and issues in the aquatic sciences, and have the opportunity to build professional relationships.
