Academia Europaea award the 2010 ERASMUS MEDAL in Leuven, Belgium

On 9 September 2010, at the University of Leuven, the Council of the Academia Europaea are pleased to award an Erasmus Medal to the internationally renowned chemist, Professor Jean M.J. Fréchet

The Erasmus Medal of the Academia Europaea, is awarded on the recommendation of the Council, to an scholar who has maintained over a sustained period, the highest level of international scholarship and recognition by peers.

Professor Fréchet will also deliver the 2010 Erasmus Lecture called:
“Designing polymers for applications: from technology to medicine”

The Lecture is open to public and all interested researchers and takes place during the opening session of the 22nd Annual conference of the Academia Europaea at the University of Leuven.
