The SEACOOP project aims at supporting the development of Information Society policy dialogues and the strengthening of cooperation on ICT research between Europe and Southeast Asia.
The objective of this research forum, organised in liaison with TEIN3 under the aegis of the European Commission and of the ASEAN Secretariat, is to more precisely evaluate the cooperation projects that could usefully be launched between the two regions, namely in the framework of the European Commission’s FP7 research funding programme, based on eInfrastructures (aiming for instance at the development of virtual research communities).
