An Industrial Convention on the "Factory of the future", organized by the French EUREKA Chairmanship, will take place in Toulouse, France, on 14-15 January 1993. Aiming to bring together industries, promote business contacts and encourage potential partners to work actively together on eligible projects, the Convention will offer plenary and workshop sessions on specific sectors or subject areas as well as poster presentations and business meetings.

Topics will include: Managing the equation, cost/quality/effectiveness; synergy between environmental and statutory restraints; anticipative personnel management; organizational approaches; production plant; concurrent engineering and progressive integration of company functions.
