EU Innovation Partnership: Active & Healthy Ageing Conference in Brussels - belgium

This conference will consider potential key action areas to increase the uptake of proven concepts and the upscaling of successful pilot projects at regional level in the presence of DG INFSO and DG SANCO senior officials:

The EIP, as set out in the innovation union flagship initiative, is a new European approach to research and innovation to tackle societal challenges where there is a large new market potential for businesses. The AHAIP will influence future work programmes in FP7, AAL, CIP and synergies with Structural Funds, and it would also expect a group of leading regions to engage and innovate and a group of following regions to learn and adopt.
