APRE Training courses on “How to disseminate results in an FP7 project” in Rome, Italy

APRE, the Italian Agency for the Promotion of European Research, presents the training course on “The dissemination of results in the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Development”. The training course will be held on December 13rd, 2010.

13 December 2010 - 13 December 2010
Austria
APRE’s decision comes from great interest of European Commission about the impact and dissemination of results.

As implied in the “Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) grant agreement - clauses relevant to communication” the research consortium is called, during the entire project, to initiate a series of initiatives in order to communicate to the public and media the result “work in progress” and the aims of own research.

Indeed, within Seventh Framework Programme, all the proposals are valued by panel of independent evaluators, who are recognized specialists in the relevant fields. The role of the panel is to compare the proposal against evaluations criteria in order to check if the quality of research proposal worthy of funding.

Among this criteria is a very important element which is the “Impact” (the long-term beneficial socio-economic for the Europe and the dissemination and exploitation of result) beyond the scientific excellence and the project management.

The European Commission has emphasized this element in the project proposal and the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) doesn’t finance only the research activity but also the multidisciplinary projects which are able to involve and get a broad layer of insiders, stakeholder, policy makers and European citizen.

This training course will aim to give participants methodological material and guidance to improve the capacities to disseminate the result of own research.

This course is part of a wide training activity that APRE has been continuously implementing. In fact the Agency has always been very active in promoting the participation at European Framework Programs for Research, Innovation and Technological Development by SMEs, Research Centres, Universities and any other organizations interested in FP through information, training and assistance activities.

In particular training’s activity is developed by highly qualified training courses based on APRE’s expertise in the field.

The training will be in Italian.
APRE organizes a calendar for both “basic training courses” and “ad hoc training courses”: it is possible to receive general information by e-mail writing at segreteria@apre.it or phoning at 0039 06 48939993.
