Symposium on Transatlantic EU - U.S. Cooperation in the Field of Innovation and Technology Transfer in Vienna - Austria
The Symposium will bring together technology transfer firms, major research organisations, technology and other related experts to discuss the open innovation paradigm, Innovation Union and its implications on EU-U.S. cooperation; development and management methods of open innovation by large companies, R&D Centers and Intermediaries; open innovation’s implications on Intellectual Property, Global Networks and national and regional policies, as well as good practice examples on selected topics of mutual interest including recommendations for tackling challenges to trans-Atlantic cooperation.
The Symposium is organised by the BILAT-USA Project, which aims to improve the awareness towards EU-U.S. Science & Technology cooperation through setting up a sustainable, knowledge based, and bi-regional dialogue platform between S&T key players as well as stakeholders from the EU-Member States, Associated countries and the U.S. The BILAT-USA Project is funded by the European Union’s 7th Framework Programme.
