Conference on Innovation in Healthcare: from Research to Market in Brussels - Belgium
The conference is jointly organized by the services of the European Commission (DG Research and Innovation, DG Enterprise and Industry and DG Health and Consumers), in consultation with major stakeholders.
The objective of the conference is to produce an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for innovation in healthcare that will be addressed to policy-makers and stakeholders.
This is the second edition of the conference building on the successful event of May 2010. The outcome report of the previous conference is available:

The programme of plenary and parallel sessions will allow a large space for debate and networking. It will be complemented by a small "fair" where associations and support structures will provide information to participants.

Commissioner for Research and Innovation Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, Commissioner Antonio Tajani, responsible for Industry and Entrepreneurship, and Commissioner for Health and Consumers, John Dalli are invited to be among the speakers.
