24-hour conference has something for everyone

A 24-hour conference, "Something for everyone: Public Libraries and the Information Society", will take place in Copenhagen on 14 and 15 October 1999.

The event will bring together national policy makers and public library managers from across Europe to debate the positioning of public library services within national and European policy developments.

The conference is organised under the European Commission's Concerted Action for Public Libraries (PUBLICA) programme.
