Conference on knowledge transfer as a key tool of innovation in the bio-economy will be held in Budapest, Hungary

On 3-4 May 2011, the Knowledge2Innovation FP7 project is organising a conference on "Knowledge transfer as a key tool of innovation in sustainable bio-economy" in Budapest, Hungary. The event is held by the Hungarian EU Presidency, with the support of the European Commission.

The conference will bring together researchers, industry representatives and knowledge transfer (KT) experts. Thematically, it will look into the European strategy for innovation, discuss the potential of knowledge transfer means and networks in promoting innovation in the field of bio-economy and elaborate on practical tools for knowledge transfer. The conference will be followed by a workshop session on key knowledge transfer issues, mainly targeting young researchers and KT professionals.

Participation in the event is free-of-charge; however, prior registration is required. Knowledge2Innovation will be making available a number of travel-support grants for participants.
