The latest Council conclusions in February 2011 emphasised how common actions at EU level could bring real added-value by improving framework conditions for research and innovation.
The new concept of a Common Strategic Framework is emerging as a major improvement to the EU R&I post 2013, strengthening complementarities between the different instruments through a truly holistic approach.
ERRIN, EURADA, EBN and CERI - Centro Europeo per la Ricerca Italiana, are organising an high-profile conference on the future of research in Europe on the 13 of April, bringing together relevant stakeholders, from EU Commission representatives to Regions, R&D Networks and Associations.
This conference wishes to foster “new collaborative thinking” supporting radical innovation, by drawing attention to shortcomings and pointing to straightforward solutions that can improve the effectiveness of future EU RTD &I Programmes.
