FUTURAGE Stakeholder Workshop 2 held in London, United Kingdom

FUTURAGE has responsibility for creating the definitive Road Map for Ageing Research which is intended to guide European research in this field over the next 10-15 years.

This workshop is intended for national and regional research policy makers and funders to give them an opportunity to review and comment on the draft Road Map.

The workshop will include presentations from the key priority areas of the draft Road Map and opportunities for both focused and open discussion.

The draft Road Map has been developed during six distinct stages of consultation with member states, research funders, policy makers, scientists and end users since the project began in September 2009.

Participants will have the opportunity to contribute, at this essential stage, to the development of the definitive Road Map for Ageing Research in Europe.

The Road Map will be launched at a major European conference in Brussels in autumn 2011
