EU Funding workshop, you asking about FP7 Health?

Enterprise Europe Network Scotland and Scotland Europa are delighted to announce that they will be hosting a half-day seminar focussing on European R&D (FP7) funding for Healthcare projects in the forthcoming 2011 calls. The seminar will be held on the 10th of May in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Attendees will learn about the current and potentially, future topics in both the current and forthcoming FP7 Health Work Programme, due to be published in July 2011.

They will also have the chance to meet with regional and national support teams and to network with potential partners and experienced FP7 participants. In addition, there will be a case study from an organisation that has successfully accessed European funding.

At the event, organised in partnership with FP7UK, there will be the chance to have a 1:1 surgery with any of our panel of experts.

A buffet lunch will be provided.

Who should attend?
The event will be of interest to businesses, academics and other interested parties working in the following areas of health research:

• Detection and Diagnosis of disease
• Innovative therapeutic approaches and interventions
• Large scale data gathering and processing
• Development and ageing
• Translational research on major infectious diseases, including HIV, TB & malaria
• Translational research on, diabetes/obesity, rare and chronic diseases
• Healthcare systems and public health
• Adverse drug reactions
