Three years of public events, workshops, publications, talks about neuroscience and its impact on society have already passed. Fostering a
true interdisciplinary dialogue on neuroscience was the aim of the bid – brains in dialogue project, funded by the European Commission and
coordinated by SISSA (Italy). But what are the main outcomes? What are the most crucial issues? And what could be done in the future to advance
this dialogue?
We will discuss these and other issues during the bid final conference, with some participants of previous bid activities and guest speakers
from the European Commission, the European Dana Alliance for the Brain and oversea.
The bid final conference will take place on Wednesday 6 July 2011 at the Stanhope Hotel, in Brussels, Belgium, from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm (programme
