The Sixth International Conference on Intelligence in Services and Networks (IS&N '99) is going to take place in Barcelona, Spain, from 27 to 29 April 1999.
Organized by the European Commission, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Telefónica, the conference addresses the issue of "Paving the way for an open service market". Its main theme is the advance in technologies that will contribute to managing the complexity of an open service market and delivering services to the public.
The day before the conference, 26 April 1999, there will be a related workshop, "Experiences in the usage of agent platforms and design of agent-based applications".
