Networks of Science: a COST exhibition in Brussels, Belgium
The host of this exhibition, Ms Pilar del Castillo Vera MEP, has asked COST to highlight its contribution to society and, in particular, to the human and intellectual capital it has leveraged.
Through its openness, COST has progressively and constructively contributed to the inclusion of high quality researchers all over Europe including new EU members and smaller countries. It supports scientific networks allowing the connection between both young and experienced European scientists, big and small industries, international organisations, institutions and other stakeholders; thereby bringing together the advances and contributions which will build a more innovative Europe, both within and beyond its borders.
The societal impact of COST Actions and their relevance for policy-making will be highlighted through an interactive exhibition that will encourage Members of the European Parliament, Parliamentary staff, and key stakeholders to familiarise themselves with the valuable contribution produced by COST Actions in science and research.
