Event targets licensing for digital networks

A consensus forum entitled "Legal Licensing or Contested Copyright: A way forward for information commerce" is being held in London on 7 and 8 June 1999.
The objective of the conference is to identify those elements required for a pragmatic and practical licensing regime for digital networks.
Organized with a mixture of plenary and workshop sessions, this forum is the first presented by Imprimatur Service Limited, the successor company to the ESPRIT Imprimatur Project. The event is being organised with support from the European Commission DG XIII.
