The Polish EU Presidency will serve as the official patron of the RENEXPO® Poland. The international energy trade fair will take place in Warsaw from October 26th-28th, 2011. It is the newest event among the RENEXPO trade fairs and will be celebrating its premiere this year. With Poland assuming the EU Presidency, the exhibition will be part of the official EU program in Poland and will serve as the central energy platform for central and eastern Europe.
The topics of the international conference and trade fair in Warsaw fit perfectly with the goals of the program for the Polish presidency. The theme of bioenergy will take center stage at the event. By 2020, nearly every local community in Poland should have a biogas plant, according to the ambitious goals that have been established. In addition to this core theme, wind energy, solar technology, hydropower, geothermics and energy efficiency (such as e-mobility and passive houses) will be be showcased at the RENEXPO® Poland.
