SusChem's FP7 Success Stories - 2011 Warsaw , Poland

SusChem's FP7 success stories: creating economic value through effective collaboration.

18 October 2011 - 18 October 2011
Belgium
In 2007 the Framework 7 Programme was launched to increase productivity and economic growth through innovation. SusChem developed a Strategic Research Agenda to promote collaborative Research, Development and Innovation between European industry and academia in the fields of Industrial Biotechnology, Materials Technology and Reaction and Process Design. The vision was that these collaborative projects would not only move beyond the scientific state of the art, but also maintain the competitiveness and societal relevance of European Chemistry-using companies, both large and small. The first batch of projects is now completing.

SusChem is pleased that this vision is being realised and has taken the opportunity to organise an event in collaboration with SusChem Poland under the patronage of the Polish Presidency to share the outcomes of three successful FP7 projects: EUMET, EFECTS and INTENANT. This event also represents an opportunity to celebrate Polish participation in these projects.

The event will bring together European policy-makers, politicians, industry and academia to discuss the following key themes:

- EUMET project
- EFECTS project
- INTENTANT project
- Horizon 2020 Programme
- 'The impact of the SusChem Programme'
- 'Best practice in collaborative projects'
Location: Warsaw University, Sala Senatu, Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, 00-927 Warsaw, Poland.
