Training Course “Marie Curie and ERC: project design and management" in Rome, Italy

This two and a half day training course is designed to provide participants with an overview of the main features of the PEOPLE and IDEAS specific programmes, including general hints for preparing successful project proposals. Particular attention will be devoted to the changes introduced by the Work-programmes 2011 and 2012, to fiscal issues, financial rules and to contractual good practices.

The following topics will be dealt with in relation to both specific programmes:

− General introduction to Marie Curie and ERC actions
− Practical hints for drafting successful project proposals
− Grant Agreement structure and relevant annexes
− Contractual good practices
− Financial regulations: analysis of eligible and ineligible costs
− Bookkeeping, accounting records, timesheets, cost recording
− Project reporting
− Fiscal and social security issues.

The course targets specifically the needs of professionals and project managers who are involved in the management of FP7 projects, both in the private and public sector. The course can be an effective tool to help participants to manage projects successfully as well as further develop their internal project management strategies. It can also provide a good opportunity to network and share good practices.

THE COURSE WILL BE HELD IN ITALIAN.

Dates: 5th October (from 14.00 to 17.30); 6th October (from 9.00 to 17.00); 7th October (from 9.00 to 17.30)

Course fee: € 1.000+VAT. The fee includes tuition, documentation (both in printed and electronic format), certificate, morning coffees and lunches.
