Main impacts of the Gelmini Act on research funding programmes
Round table discussion, organised in cooperation with CODAU*, involving selected Research and International Relations Departments representatives belonging to various Italian Universities
Chair: Claudio Borio, University of Turin, coordinator of CODAU working group for Research
Main topics to be discussed:
▪ Research staff to be involved in research projects
▪ New legislation for short term research assignments (Assegni di Ricerca) and for recruiting researchers with fixed-term contracts
▪ ANVUR’s role and the evaluation of research after the entry into force of the Gelmini Act
*The acronym CODAU stands for “Convegno permanente dei Direttori Amministrativi e dirigenti delle Università italiane”, i.e. “Permanent Conference of the Administrative Directors and Managers of the Italian Universities”.
