How do you go about developing your idea into a wining proposal? How do you define and develop your budget? What information do you need to gather and capture? How do you write a winning proposal? What project structure should you use? How to you ensure that you meet the requirements and expected impact?

Proposal development is a difficult and resource intensive process with no guarantee of success. You have to maximise your time and effort, this course looks at the common problems in developing the proposal and the success criteria required to maximise your chances. The course will also look at how to set up your consortium and project at the proposal stage to ensure smooth running if the project is selected for funding.

Day 1:

Understanding the work programme and topics
Capturing the requirements of the EC
Designing a proposal development timeline
How to find partners and build a balanced consortium
Running your proposal meeting for maximum effectiveness

Day 2:

Developing the proposal documentation
Budget setting and project structure
Systems and admin
Pitfalls and problems
Looking toward the future evaluation and negotiation
