1st of November, IWW Amsterdam: STREAM Policy Seminar on Urban Water Management in IWW - also available live on streaming -

On Tuesday 1st November from 14.00 to 17.30 pm, in the framework of the official programme of the International Water Week in Amsterdam (IWW), STREAM Project is organising the policy seminar “State of the Art in Urban Water Management”.

1 November 2011
Austria
The seminar aims to show the current state of the European policy and research efforts on urban water management, as well as the best practices and challenges for practical implementation of sustainable water management in cities. The event brings politicians and researchers together to make sure that policies are based on the latest research, research is policy driven, and together they focus on the practical implementation of solutions.

The event is opened by the keynote speech of Arnaud Pinxteren, MP from the Brussels-Capital Region and is divided in two different sessions: the first focuses on Policy and Research developments, the second on practical examples of Sustainable Water Management in Cities and the challenges for implementation. It hosts presentations from high-level experts on water related issues both on the political and research level and it is closed by an open discussion session.

Those interested to follow the seminar from any part of the world, are also able to participate through the webinar facility, accessible at www.stream-project.eu.
