Women Entrepreneurship in the EU and Turkey: Fostering development in times of economic downturn Conference in Brussels, Belgium
Turkey acknowledges and emphasizes the importance of women entrepreneurship as prioritized in the EU 2020 Strategy and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme and is seeking to promote female entrepreneurship, in particular, to support women innovators and start-up entrepreneurs in various fields.
This conference seeks to raise awareness - even in times of economic austerity - on the importance of women entrepreneurship for European economies and societies in general and for Turkey in specific. It aims to do so by bringing together key-stakeholders from Turkey’s and the EU’s industry, business and research sectors and by providing a high-level platform for discussion, best-practice sharing and outlining the current state of play.
The Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), the Turkish Research and Business Organisations, Public-Private Partnership (TuR&Bo) and the SME Union of the European People’s Party (EPP) look forward to welcoming you on 22 November (9h30-12h30) at the Museum for Royal Arts and History (Parc de Cinquantenaire 10, 1000 Brussels).
A lunch will be provided after the conference.
Please confirm your participation before the 19th of November to: info@turboppp.org, indicating whether you will attend the lunch.
