Technology Foresight: Security Threats and Responses Workshop in Brussels, Belgium
Foresight and forward-looking methods have been applied in FESTOS to capture some of these threats and potential ways to cope with such developing security risks. The issue of freedom of knowledge was thoroughly investigated as part of these efforts.
This final workshop is based on the main FESTOS objectives:
• Identification of future security threats posed by emerging technologies
• Presentation of narrative scenarios
• Assessing the need for knowledge control
• Evaluation of policy measures to cope with the threats
