Course content:
The course describes the common problems in proposal writing and the success criteria for proposals. You will be provided with tips on how to collect information, how to select strategic partners and how to avoid duplication in proposal writing.
The course will focus on the following themes:
• A quick overview of Framework 7
• The evaluators’ work. How are proposals evaluated?
• Tips and secrets of the Framework
• Consortium. How to find the best partners
• How to write the ‘potential impact’ of the proposal
• How to write the ‘project implementation’
• Proposal tips. How to streamline proposal writing.
Output:
At the course you will be trained in the practical ways of how to write professional and competitive proposals for the Framework 7. You will learn what the evaluators are looking for when they read the proposal, and how to target it towards interested parties.
Teaching method:
The course varies between presentations and active involvement of the participants.
Course material:
A comprehensive folder with course material will be handed out.
Course presenter:
Dr. Sean McCarthy has been involved in the European Framework programmes since the early 1980s. He has been involved as a researcher, research manager, and evaluator. Today he designs and delivers training courses on the Framework programme. Since 1997 over 36.000 participants have attented his courses in 29 countries.
