The course will focus on main topics:
• From the proposal to the final payment
• The consortium
• How to work with the European commission
• Negotiating the Grant Agreement
• Model Grant Agreement
• Contractual deadlines in Framework 7 projects
• Claims in Framework 7
• The financial audit.
Output:
At the course you will learn how to manage, negotiate and administer a project properly. It is a very practical course with lots of examples and a systematic approach. You learn not only what to do, but why to do it.
Teaching method:
The course varies between presentations and active involvement of the participants.
Course material:
A comprehensive folder with course material will be handed out.
Course presenter:
Dr. Sean McCarthy has been involved in the European Framework programmes since the early 1980s. He has been involved as a researcher, research manager, and evaluator. Today he designs and delivers training courses on the Framework programme. Since 1997 over 36.000 participants have attended his courses in 29 countries.
