The recent flagship programme for an Innovation Union emphasises the need for
European research to contribute more to the innovation process. But what implications will this have for European research support professionals and does the recent proposal for Horizon 2020 go far enough? What is current thinking on support for SMEs (both now and in the future) and what are the relationships with industrial policy and the wider economy? These are amongst some of the extremely timely topics that will be debated at this event. The debate will be led by speakers who are all experts in their field.
